Apex Mountain Resort is a ski village located in the Okanagan region of British Columbia, 405km/ 240 miles east of Vancouver, B.C. and only 33km / 21 miles west of Penticton, B.C. .  You can ski from the upper village to the main part, where the hotels and restaurants are located. Otherwise, you will have to drive or snowmobile. Snowmobile rental is available.

In winter you can do popular activities is  skiing, snowmobile tours, play hockey, go Skatingand go tubing. In summer you can also  mountain biking and go fishing at nearby Nickel Plate Lake. The only place to buy cold beer, wine, and spirits is at the Trading Post. Selection is limited, so if you are a discriminating drinker you will want to bring your own booze from town.
