In Turkey there is a famous and popular tourist attractions, known as Cappadocia.
Cappadocia is home to hundreds of homes, consisting of rooms and merged with an ancient system of underground cities over 2,500 years old. Space separated by a narrow corridor, at first people started living on the surface and eventually moved to the metro.

The Cappadocia

The Cappadocia region is located southwest of the big city of Kayseri, the airline and rail (rail) service to Ankara and Istanbul. The area is a famous and popular tourist destination, as it has many areas with unique geological, historical and cultural characteristics.The Cappadocia region is largely underlain by sedimentary rocks formed in lakes and streams, and ignimbrite deposits erupted from ancient volcanoes around the rocks of Cappadocia near Göreme eroded into hundreds of spectacular pillars and minaret-like forms. The volcanic deposits are soft rocks that the inhabitants of the villages in the heart of the Cappadocia region are cut houses, churches and monasteries. Göreme became a monastic center between 300-1200 AD.

Goreme Open Air Museum is the most visited site of the monastic communities in Cappadocia (see Churches of Göreme, Turkey) and is one of the most famous sites in central Turkey. The complex contains more than 30 rock-hewn churches and chapels, some of them have beautiful frescoes inside, dating from the 9th to the 11th century.
