The Faroe Islands or Faeroe Islands, the island is located between Iceland and Norway, in the middle of the Gulf Stream in the North Atlantic Ocean. Consisting of 18 islands, the Faroe Islands has a the deep blue ocean, beautiful and dramatic scenery of the Volcanic peaks and ocean waves hitting the shoreline rocky.
The islands are rugged and rocky with some low peaks; the coasts are mostly cliffs. One of the main reasons that people visit the Faroe Islands are because of the incredible nature and scenery. The Faroe Islands turn extraordinarily green during the summertime.The Faroe Islands are a small country and getting around is easy. All of the Islands are connected by a public transport system.

Faroe islanders every year to hunt pilot whales (Globicephala melaena) by means of the traditional whale hunt, known as ‘Grindadrap’. Mass non-commercial hunting – whale meat can not be sold but divided equally among members of the local community.Whalers gathered in the bay and then cut a stranded whale, and leave these poor animals bleed to death slowly, while the surrounding sea turned blood red. The images of the blood-red sea often has the effect of a shock to see it. Some Faroese consider the hunt an important part of their culture and history. Animal-rights groups criticize it as being cruel and unnecessary, while the hunters claim in return that most journalists do not exhibit sufficient knowledge of the catch methods or its economic significance
